I am learning a lot about the Financial Services industry at ‘The Ginger Group’ where I am being mentored; about the business environment and organisational structure in NZ (which is different to Hong Kong). I have designed a Newsletter template, opened a Twitter account, made a Facebook post, attended meetings and created leaflets for the 2013 conference, am also helping with general office admin. I have been able to gain similar work experience with ‘Solutions’ also and I’m really enjoying this experience – everyone is so nice. I appreciate getting this opportunity through NZIE’s Think Recruit and having the very good Teachers at NZIE to guide me (James, etc).
