So what is Meta? Meta is a powerhouse combination of two of the world’s largest social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram. You may have heard the phrase the Metaverse recently, as Meta is working as hard as it can to innovate in the field of technology and virtual reality. To give you some idea of the scale of meta in the third quarter of 2022, Meta reported that their advertising revenue was over 27 billion US dollars. Meta is by far the most popular and lucrative social media ad platform and currently has well over 10 million active advertisers.
