experience of TWO years or more, or<\/li><li>Successful tertiary study at level 5 or higher in any discipline, and suitable work experience of ONE or more years<\/li><\/ul><p>Special entry applicants will be interviewed, and the notes included in the application<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>documents. The application is assessed, and the final entry approval is made by the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Academic Board.<\/p><p><b>English Language Requirements<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p><p>Applicants must meet either the General English language requirements for domestic<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>students OR the General English language requirements for international students.<\/p><p><b>General English Language Requirements for Domestic Students<\/b><\/p><p>Applicants are New Zealand citizens, residents, or refugees who can demonstrate<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>their English competencies through providing evidence that they have:<\/p><ul><li>Completed secondary school education in English, or<\/li><li>Successfully completed level 5 tertiary study in English, or<\/li><li>English language competency that can be benchmarked against the CEFR mid B2<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li>requirements.<\/li><\/ul><p><b>General English Language Requirements for International Students<\/b><\/p><p>Applicants are international students who can demonstrate their English<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>competencies through providing evidence that they have:<\/p><ul><li>Successfully completed secondary or tertiary education in English in New Zealand, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, or the Pacific Islands, or<\/li><li>An IELTS academic score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5, or<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li>A TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) with a score of 60 (with a writing score of 18), or<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li>A Cambridge English Qualification with a B2 First, or B2 First for schools, or C1<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li>Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169.
