New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA)
This is a government department that sets the standards for courses and quality. NZIE is approved signature to the Code of Practice for International Students. This means we can accept International Students including under 18 years old.
NZIE is a Category 2 Provider. You can find the last EER report here.
NZIE complies with Ministry of Education data collection through a Single Data Return (SDR) sent every 4 months .
Tertiary Education Commission (TEC)
This government department funds institutes to accept local domestic students.
This means that New Zealanders can study at NZIE and also access the Student Loan and Allowance scheme to support them through their studies.
