#1. Rand Fishkin 

Rand is a US-based heavy hitter. He’s responsible for the vision and execution of Moz (which interestingly, started out as a blog). He cofounded Inbound.org, which is now owned by HubSpot. His most recent vision is the launch of SparkToro an online market research platform. You’d think a man this busy would have an assistant to update his social media, but Rand personally posts insights, opinions, and advice on digital marketing best practices to his feed. He’s worth a follow to tap into his expertise, even if it’s just for the #whiteboardwisdom.

#2. Justin Flitter 

Justin has an impressive CV. He is the Founder of Unrivaled.co.nz, an organisation that helps businesses and SaaS providers accelerate their marketing. He’s the Director at Business Mentors New Zealand. A mentor and Chair for NZ Tech Marketers, and an emcee and speaker coach for TedxAuckland.

Why should you follow him? Because you can gain valuable insights and stay up to date with industry trends around NZ tech and marketing. At present, his feed is dominated by discussion about AI, which is understandable, as he is also the Founder of AI. Melanie is the Group CEO of Socialites, a full-service social media agency, and a host of ‘A Seat at the Table’, a monthly podcast that discusses diversity and community in business. I highly recommend giving him a follow if you want thought-provoking ideas and actionable strategies that can help you level up your B2B marketing.

Britney is based in New York but recently flew to NZ to be part of the Marketing Association’s #DigitalDayOut2023. She is a Marketing and SEO consultant and Data Scientist, who spent 4 years as a Senior SEO Scientist at Moz. Curious about how AI can affect marketing? Take a look at this post. Entry Criteria:

To be admitted into NZ Certificate in English Language Level 4 General, all applicants must meet the following requirements:

a) Be a speaker of English as an additional language; and

b) Hold a NZCEL Applied Level 3 [3667] qualification; or

c) Pass an NZIE entry test that meets the requirements for the CEFR B2 requirements or equivalent; and

d) Be of a minimum age of 16 years or older; and.

e) Be a New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency OR Certificate of Refugee Status and evidence of eligibility to study for the duration of enrolment.

Entry Criteria:

To be admitted into NZ Certificate in English Language Level 3 General, all applicants must meet the following requirements:

a) Be a speaker of English as an additional language; and

b) Hold a NZCEL Level 2 qualification; or

c) Pass an NZIE entry test that meets the requirements for the CEFR mid B1 requirements or equivalent; and

d) Be of a minimum age of 16 years or older; and.

e) Be a New Zealand citizen or resident; or have Certificate of Refugee Status and evidence of eligibility to study for the duration of enrolment.

You are only eligible for Fees-Free if you haven’t previously undertaken more than 60 credits (half a year of equivalent full-time tertiary education, 0.5 EFTS) at Level 3 or above on the NZQF – New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
