Diploma in Digital Marketing Graduate

Meet Diego, a recent graduate of the Diploma in Digital Marketing. One thing that our NZIE students have in common is their desire to better themselves, further career opportunities and growth. Diego is yet another experienced marketer with an existing set of marketing skills. However, he was eager to take his skillset up a notch and accumulate even more knowledge. Specifically within the digital side of marketing and to get a general update on everything new, existing and emerging with this fast paced industry.

During the 2021 B:Hive graduation we were lucky enough to sit down with Deigo. In fact we actually put him on the spot with all of the questions we asked. So well done and thank you to Diego for being a good sport and doing so well on camera! Diego spoke about his experience with NZIE, his background, where he is at. Below is an adapted transcript to his video success story.

From the client-facing side of marketing to future trends and all things digital.

Before NZIE, I was working in different marketing fields including trade marketing, communications and digital. Throughout my work experience I had always worked on the client side. As a result, I always wanted to learn and get a better understanding of the other side. Therefore, I thought that studying at NZIE would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about digital marketing. As well as being able to apply everything, get an update on all things new and to continue growing.

“My time at NZIE was great because I learnt a lot about new and emerging digital marketing trends.”

Furthermore, I also learnt a lot about content marketing, digital design and SEO. Above all studying the Diploma in Digital Marketing was great.

Currently completing studies with NZIE

Currently I am working for a digital marketing agency. We specialize in search marketing and SEO (search engine optimization). It’s been a great experience to be able to show and apply everything that I have learnt at NZIE. In fact, it has helped me within my current role a lot.
