2023 has started with a bang for NZIE. NZIE gained a Category One status from NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority), meaning that we are a Category One digital marketing school.
Every 4 years, NZQA schedules an External Evaluation and Review (EER). This assesses education providers on their level of Education Performance and Self-Assessment. As a result, NZIE achieved Highly Confident in both outcomes, the top level of confidence.
Undoubtedly, it’s no easy feat to achieve these results. The review is rigorous and looks at our performance over a 4 year period. This result is a recognition of delivering world-class programmes to students across New Zealand.

“Students graduating from NZIE with the DDM gain a qualification with the learning content and assessed work clearly aligned to the practical nature of this work in the industry. Employers contacted by NZQA indicated graduates have the necessary capability and skills and knowledge to contribute to the workplace.” P5
Without a doubt, this incredible achievement would not have been possible without the entire NZIE community. Subsequently, we send a huge thanks to our staff who went above and beyond, putting in extra hours to prepare for the assessment. In addition to that, a huge thank you to our Industry partners who volunteered to be contacted by NZQA to provide feedback. Not to mention, the graduates who provided essential information about the impact NZIE has had on their careers. This was a team effort. And we are so proud to share this result together.
