Wondering how NZIE fosters student success in an online virtual campus? NZIE’s Client Success Team can assist you, from offering course support, to helping you land your dream digital marketing job. We dive into job placements through the Digital Marketing Diploma and available resources for students as part two of this three-part blog series.

The NZIE Client Success Team

The Client Success Team looks after academic and non-academic issues and challenges for students on their journey.

Meet the Client Success Team below:

Does the Client Success Team offer job placements through the Diploma?

NZIE has connections in both the digital marketing industry and with companies that are looking for interns and employees. As a result, sometimes we get jobs first-hand, before the job searching site SEEK.

There are a lot of opportunities that come through NZIE. In addition, opportunities arise through word of mouth with other graduates.

We have built long-standing relationships with agencies who have approached us saying; “I hired one of your graduates and I’m looking for another one.”

These companies include Harper DigitalVerumPure SEO and Firefly Digital, just to name a few. Fortunately, we have built great trust and reputation with agencies. Therefore, they come back again to us when they are in growth and scale mode.

What are the chances of landing a digital marketing job or internship through NZIE?

The chances are not guaranteed. But usually, if a student is willing to put their best foot forward into an 8-10 week internship, they will go far. This is the case for career changers and newcomers with no relevant marketing experience. However, we do get opportunities every two weeks. Therefore, if you are willing to put aside time to build up your experience while studying, your chances are higher.

Do you have additional employment support to help students/graduates to work?

Yes, we also have the following:

  • STUDENT JOB SEARCH CV WORKSHOPS

NZIE collaborates with Student Job Search to host sessions on how to build your CV, to make sure it’s relevant to employers. These workshops include best practices for cover letters.

  • TUTOR SUPPORT

Tutors can also help with CV references and preparing for job interview tests when you make it to the shortlist rounds.

  • CLIENT SUCCESS ADVISOR SUPPORT

Students can have an interview with the Client Success Advisor before course completion. This is to see if they have a job lined up or if they need some assistance finding one. For example, you can provide us with five companies you are interested in working for. From there, NZIE can approach them on your behalf to build a connection, and help you get a foot in the door. This has been successful on several occasions.

Stay tuned for our third and final blog post in the series, which looks at the resources available to help NZIE’s Client Success Team help students improve their learning.
