How to get your Digital Marketing strategy course funded by Activate Tāmaki Makaurau.

Rob Marks Managing Director of NZIE on Activate Tamaki Funding

If you are an Auckland Business, you might have heard about Activate Tāmaki Makaurau. To clarify this is a 70 million dollar fund to support Auckland Businesses in moving forward. Specifically aimed to help businesses come back stronger from the impacts of Covid-19 restrictions last year.

What you may not be aware of, is that you can now get NZIE’s Digital Marketing Strategy short courses fully funded by Activate Tāmaki Makaurau.

NZIE is officially a registered service provider of Activate Tāmaki Makaurau. Therefore your business could join our next Social Media or Search Engine Optimisation Strategy courses and be 100% funded.

Now is the perfect time to equip your business with a fresh Digital strategy! In fact you could gain two strategies in Social Media and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in just 7 weeks.

How does the funding work?

The process has a few steps but it’s worth it if you can get your short course fully funded.

Step 1. Choose your strategy course

Check out NZIE’s Short Courses in Social Media Strategy and Search Engine Optimisation. From there you can choose either Digital Marketing Strategy course or both. As they are both fully funded.

Step 2. Notify us via our website

Send us an enquiry through the NZIE website and put Activate Tāmaki Makaurau in the enquiry message. Then we’ll know that you’re interested in having this course funded. After that our Recruitment Advisor, Phil, will take you through the enrolment process with NZIE.

Step 3. Register for funding

Once you’ve chosen the strategy course/s and ensured you meet eligibility criteria then you’re ready to register with Activate Tāmaki Makaurau.

Step 4. Referral Plan

A referral plan will be created for you once your business registration has been assessed. From there, you’ll get a login and you can request a proposal from NZIE as your preferred service provider.

Step 5. Proposal Submission

NZIE will send you the proposal for the Social Media Strategy and/or Search Engine Optimisation course. (Depending on whether you want to do both or just one). Once you’ve reviewed and submitted the proposal on your portal, your business’s funding application is assessed. If your application is approved and the contract is signed, then you may commence work with us as your selected service provider.

Step 6. Approval stage

Once it’s approved, we’ll complete your individual enrolment with NZIE and you’re ready to start your selected Digital Marketing Strategy short course.

Step 7. Course Completion Notification

Once you’ve completed the course, you’ll need to let Activate Tāmaki Makaurau know. From there they will facilitate the payment of the fees to NZIE.

Why should I choose NZIE for my Activate Tāmaki Makaurau funding?

NZIE is New Zealand’s largest provider of NZQA-accredited Digital Marketing training. Our industry-relevant Digital Marketing courses equip you with in-demand skills, and the confidence you need to accelerate your business.

We’ve consulted with some of the best marketing partners and agencies in the business! As a result, we’ve created content that actually includes the skills, tools, and methodologies that digital marketers use every day. Furthermore, we’ve ensured what we teach helps grow businesses as well as sell products and services online. You’ll learn from industry practitioners and connect with a range of guest speakers who provide further insight into what it takes to implement successful Digital Marketing strategies in your business.

We’re big believers in showing you the ‘how’ of setting up and implementing a Digital Marketing strategy in Social Media or SEO. Instead of providing a done for you one where you aren’t able to rinse, repeat, replicate and adjust for future plans and goals. By building your digital strategy in this space, you’ll be better placed to hit the ground running if you wanted to seek out an implementation partner or Digital Marketing Agency should you need it.
